Ingredients:

Dough:

Filling:

  • 4 tablespoons of sugar or sweetener
  • 2 tablespoons of Dutch cocoa
  • 40 g of water

Preparation:

  • Mix the almond drink and honey in a mixing bowl, then crumble the yeast into it and let it rise for a few minutes.
  • Mix in the egg yolk and melted margarine.
  • Measure out the flour and knead an elastic dough.
  • Let the dough rest at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  • Roll out the dough on a surface sprinkled with flour for approx. into a 2 mm thick rectangle.
  • Mix the filling ingredients and spread on top of the rolled out dough.
  • Roll up the dough and cut with a sharp knife approx. snails one and a half fingers thick.
  • Place the snails in a baking tray lined with baking paper and let them rise at room temperature for 40 minutes. In an oven preheated to 180 degrees for approx. Bake it in 20 minutes.
