Our story
It all started with Miklos and Maria…
In 1999, they laid the foundation for what would become our company, driven by a simple yet powerful vision: to create delicious, gluten-free food that everyone could enjoy. Even before Miklos was diagnosed with multiple allergies, he was passionate about crafting high-quality, flavourful products—so he and others with dietary sensitivities could savour their favourite foods without worry.
Over the years, Hunorganic Kft has grown into Hungary’s leading gluten-free manufacturer across multiple categories. Our range includes flour mixes, pasta, bakery products, basic flours and raw ingredients. These products are available not only in consumer-friendly packaging, but also in bulk, making them a trusted choice for gluten-free bakeries and restaurants.
In 2020, we launched the it’s us brand to bring our passion for gluten-free living to a global audience. With packaging tailored to international standards and a product range designed to suit diverse tastes, we’re excited to grow our presence worldwide. Quality
At Hunorganic Kft., the success of our production and the high quality of our products are driven by continuous innovation and the dedication of our team. Our primary goal is to earn recognition for our products both in Hungary and on the international market. With our customers at the heart of everything we do, we are committed to fully meeting their needs.
All of our products are produced and packaged in our 100% gluten-free facility in Székesfehérvár, which also houses our logistics center and our very own quality control laboratory.
Every year, we create a comprehensive inspection plan based on quality, hygiene, and technological standards. Adherence to this plan ensures strict quality control throughout production.
We collaborate with accredited external laboratories for certain tests, and we also have our own in-house allergen testing lab to ensure the highest standards of quality.
In line with the HACCP system, we maintain rigorous internal hygiene standards, which comply with both national regulations and international norms. We also incorporate the IFS Food Safety Standard, addressing the specific commercial challenges in the industry and strengthening our quality management system. Our plant is certified with the IFS FOOD 7.0 advanced food safety audit, reflecting the high standards we uphold.

Our quality assurance and management system covers every aspect of our operations—from raw material usage and production processes to the final product. Additionally, our facility is registered under the plant number LÉOE HU-003 by the Hungarian member organisation of the AOECS (Association of European Flour Sensitive People), and undergoes an annual gluten-free audit.

Product development
At Hunorganic Kft, we don’t stop at simply ensuring our products are gluten-free and safe to consume. We believe gluten-free living should be uncompromising, which is why our product development team is always working to create new innovations and improve our existing recipes to make them even better and healthier. We are constantly experimenting with new ingredients that provide the same gastronomic experience as traditional products.
As a result, we’ve developed the it’s us ‘mimen’ range, which is free of all allergens, the ‘kate’s low carb’ range, designed for those seeking fewer carbohydrates, and the ‘miklos’ universal mix plus’ flour mix, which includes prebiotic chicory inulin. Our portfolio also features a variety of dry pasta made from alternative sources of dietary fibre, such as egg and gluten-free chickpeas, red lentils, green peas, and millet.
