Ingredients:
- 500 g lukewarm water
- 10 g honey
- 25 g fresh yeast
- 12 g it’s us naturbit pysllium husks
- 100 g it’s us miklos’ bread mix flour mix
- 400 g it’s us miklos’ universal plus mix flour mix
- 15 g salt
- 15 g oil
On top:
- 1 egg, size “M”
- 1 tbsp water
- grated (vegan) cheese to taste
Preparation:
- In a bowl, crumble the yeast into the mixture of 500 g lukewarm water and honey and set aside until frothy and bubbly.
- Mix the psyllium into it with a hand mixer until lumpfree.
- In a bowl, whisk flour and salt together.
- Pour the flour mixture into the mix of the liquid ingredients, then knead the dough thoroughly while adding the oil.
- You can knead the dough with a machine or by your hands, too.
- When ready, cover the dough with a cling film and let it rest on room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Knead the dough again on a working surface sprinkled with rice flour and divide it into 8-10 equal parts.
- Shape the parts into balls, then roll them into thicker sticks.
- Place the sticks on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, cover it again with the cling film and let them rise on room temperature for about 45 minutes.
- Brush the risen sticks with the mixture of beaten egg and water, then sprinkle richly with grated cheese.
- Preheat the oven at 180 degrees and bake the sticks for about 20-25 minutes.
